DESCRIPTION
Excellent in a light west north westerly wind. If very light wind may need to wait for sun on the scree slopes below takeoff to heat up before thermals will make things flyable.Access
Access is via a forestry track that leads up the south side of the hill. Approach along the Ettrick valley.
Park at the end of the public road. Do not obstruct the track or gateway. Follow the forestry track up onto the top of Bught Hill then follow quad bike tracks towards Bodesbeck law.
Rules
DO NOT land in any fields with stock or grass being grown for hay or silage.
Park sensibly and DO NOT block any forest tracks.
