DESCRIPTION
This is a coastal soaring site. In the summer it works perfectly on seabreeze from SW from 6-9 m/s for 'sport pilots' and up to around 14 m/s for expert pilots.But attention!! You need good ground handling techniques to fly here.
The soaring ridge is some 4 km long.
Access
Get to Ystad in the very south of Sweden and drive approx. 15 km east to the little village of Hammar - look for the gliders up and behind the grassy ridge directly south of the village. Take the small dirt road to the parking. Park only on the right side (west).
