DESCRIPTION

Sketchy takeoff from an old logging road. You only have about 2m (after laying out your glider, before the terrain drops to a 55 (plus) degree slope, covered with debris from logging. Crashing on this takeoff would be simply catastrophic or fatal. It's located in sub alpine, so it has all the mountain hazards. There are 2 places- one more East, one more West, depending on wind cycles (site works with N and NE only.Access

Hike in only at the moment. Get a ride to the logging rd spur at the valley bottom. It's about 5km from golf course and about 1.5 km from North end of Elbow Lake. (GPS 49.288087, -121.965377)
