My background:Monique is KNVvL paramotor deputy instructor within the AeroForce team.
She was born in 1978 and is married to Dennis Groeneveld. As a small child, Monique could not be found in the doll corner, tree climbing and building huts were more her thing.
Later she did not shy away from abseiling and the tough climbing.
Monique flies foot start and foot start Tandem. We are proud of this, because only a handful of ladies do that. Monique also flies trike and trike tandem. Monique has respect for flying but has no fear. Her landings are always a joy to watch.
On the field, Monique is active in ground handling and assists Dennis where necessary. In the air she takes the more experienced students in tow and knows how to convey her calmness very well. Monique can also be found in the Alps several times a year, she is perhaps more adept at mountain flying than Dennis (but that has to stay between us for a while).
It seems that paramotor flying is only for men, but Monique proves the opposite. She stands her ground, and we are very happy to have her within the AeroForce team.
