DESCRIPTION
Generally, this is primarily a beginner's hill, but it can be nice for a weekend outing. If the wind speed is right (20-25 kph, or between 10 and 13 kn reported from the airport), this can be great for hours of soaring. Occasionally, there is also good thermal activity. Maximum distance flown from here is about 20 km, towards the Azerbaijan border.Access
Best with 4 x 4, especially for recovery. 30 minutes from Tbilisi.
