DESCRIPTION
Ansermanuevo is a little peaceful village. Hotel Plaza (single room: 18.000 pesos as of 2012)is less than 100m from the square. Alternatively, two of the local pilots offer accommodation in private homes at similar rates:Alejo (320 408 81 81). 10.000 COP/night
Edward (314 851 09 18). 15.000 COP/night
Local pilots don't fly daily, only on weekends and on special days when they have passengers for tandem flights.
Access
Most cases you have to get a bus to Cartago -which lies 15 km east of Ansermanuevo- and then a minibus to Ansermanuevo. Medellin to Cartago takes about 6 hours and leaves from Medellin's south bus terminal. There are direct buses from Cali to Ansermanuevo.
