DESCRIPTION

WARNING: This site is only flyable a handful of days per year. If there is ANY west wind forecast it is dangerous. It is usually only safe on the last day of a Bora wind (local effect). If there are no locals there, it is not flyable. If it looks the same today as yesterday and yesterday was good, it is probably not safe today. You can contact Brett on 00 386 31 404 688 for advice for the day.

If you fly and EN-A or EN-B, don't come here. This is an XC site ONLY and with limited landing options if you miss the thermals.

WEATHER

The west wind. The valley wind (prevailing) is usually from the west but for this site it must have an easterly component for the morning. On those days it will switch back to a west wind in the afternoon allowing you to fly downwind in the morning flying out and downwind in the afternoon coming back. Beware if you are against the wind either way as it will then be turbulent.
