DESCRIPTION
Takeoff is on a narrow strip of shoreline suitable for PPG pilots only.About 5 miles east from the indicated marker, there is an unofficial nudist beach area. The area extends for about 5 miles with some parties going topless. Our club calls these individuals Double Breasted Beach Thrashers.Access
Approach High Island from the northern I-10 route through Winnie. If you approach from Galveston, you can not carry any fuel cans with you on the ferry crossing.
Rules
Be aware there is a wildlife refuge protected area to the east. Do not fly inland as the local game wardens will ticket you for harassing wildlife.
