DESCRIPTION
Route best - Best to take a guide to the takeoff. Avoid going to the Arch and go around the back to above the arch. or try from previous explorers as follows -Short and sharp, above the famous burdah arch.
Pass the arch and continue up like 50meters (a short difficult \'climbing\' move : a 10m piece of rope may be helpful to climb first without the bag then bring the glider up with the rope)East oriented flight : we could take off thanks to morning breeze, but if you arrive too late in the morning, the breeze might have turned west : early flight in a not windy day.

Access
any wadi rum bedouin guide can take you to the burdah arch in 4x4x(wich is a bit far from the village of Rum). Insist on the fact that you want him to walk up with you to the arch because the way up is not evident (but it remains an easy walk). I guess if you tell him you want to fly from up there, he ll come with you by curiosity.
