DESCRIPTION
Advanced PG site due to proximity to people/roads/poerlines and street lights.TO is grassed area in Vlamingh Parklands. Open the wire concertina launch gate. Inflate on the grass in 9-11knot WSW winds and walk forward to launch. Launch towards the north and when you have sufficient airspeed and lift you can then track north and south of takeoff. Bomb out is straight down to the beach but be aware of plenty of dog walkers who do worry about our flying tents scaring their loved ones. Be polite if approached by anyone.Just north of leighton beach. A bit more tilted to the NW as well. Better room for packing and landing on the topp.
Have not tryed it yet. But looks nice;)
Not to be flown by PG due to the difficult high wind conditions that this site requires to be flown in and sensitive nature of the spot as its in a very public viewing spot. too many PG pilots get blown over the busy road and into the beach side mansions
