weather
Winds are best from NE to ENE. If the winds are too east the landing zone doesn't get clean air and pilots may find themselves landing in sink or rotor. Also, rain squalls periodically blow in from the ocean, bringing gust fronts and rain and sometimes changing the direction of airflow in a dramatic fashion.access
Located on the windward coast about an hour's drive from Honolulu (or 1.5 hours by bus).regulation
Pilots must be members of USHPA and the Hawaii Paragliding Association. There is no cost to join the local club.Take off
