weather

General orientation: East to South. Dangerous in North, NW and NE winds and in Westerly winds. Favourable with easterly, east-south-easterly, south-south-easterly and south-south winds. In breezy conditions and in the absence of strong weather winds, flight is possible in the middle of the morning. However, the southwest sea breeze returns fairly quickly at midday, more or less early depending on the season due to the proximity of the sea, making flying turbulent and inadvisable.

access

On the A501 motorway linking Marseille to Aix en Provence via Aubagne, exit at exit 7, join the big roundabout and take the D96 for about a hundred metres. Then take the Chemin des Solans to a small roundabout where you have to turn left to stay on the Chemin des Solans. At the end of this road, at the end of the paved road, you will find a dirt DFCI track on the right that leads to a dirt parking with two large green tanks. This is where you should stop and consult the Site information panel. (Geographical coordinates of the car park: N43°19'27.67" / E 5°33'31.93"). Access to the decos is by foot, it takes about 40 minutes to walk. Access to the landing by vehicle is strictly prohibited.
