Inchadoney
DESCRIPTION
Flying here is permitted by the land owner Mr.Leslie Beamish (a local farmer). No further permission needed for flying here. At the car parking area (on top) there is a single-storey house on the corner. The owners, Susan O'Neill & her partner (who live in Clonakilty) normally rent out the house to tourists, though most of the year it is empty. If the owners are about they are very quick to point out that the grassy track towards the gate is private property (but they dont say whose property it is...I suspect it is Leslies access to his fields). In other words if you park there you are blocking their view.....so for the meantime just park on the side of the tarmac road about 10m away.ACTIVITIES

There is a road to the top with just a little level walk to the take off field. As soon as you see a sign for a "Cul-De-Sac" (just before the hotel).......go left and follow this road up for about 200m. there will be a gate in front of you, just before the road sharply goes left. Park here and walk beyond the gate and through THREE fields until you get to the field with no bushes around it. This is the take off field.Take off
