<p data-end="818" data-start="318">The APPI workshop in Bulgaria was conducted with a focused group of four participants, combining theoretical preparation with practical training at two different flying sites. The workshop began with structured theory sessions covering safety, methodology, and the procedural standards required for progression within the APPI system. These foundations provided all participants with a clear understanding of correct execution, risk management, and the responsibilities involved in tandem operations.</p>

<p data-end="1367" data-start="820">Two full days were then dedicated to practical training, during which pilots worked on takeoff technique, in-flight control, communication, maneuver accuracy, and safe landing procedures. Although the group demonstrated motivation and steady effort, the practical evaluations showed that none of the four candidates yet met the minimum performance standards required for APPI certification at this stage. This outcome clearly highlighted the need for further practice and refinement before they can safely and confidently complete the examination.</p>

<p data-end="2084" data-start="1369">Following the practical phase, each participant received individualized guidance for continuing their development. All candidates are required to follow their APPI progression path and continue flying regularly while strictly respecting safety, procedures, and structured methodology. They must upload their <strong data-end="1699" data-start="1677">tandem flight logs</strong>—including videos, photos when applicable, and written analysis—onto their APPI profile. For each tandem flight, they should describe what occurred during the flight, identify positive and negative points, and propose corrective strategies for any weak areas. This reflective documentation will serve as an essential part of their progression review before their next exam opportunity.</p>

<p data-end="2579" data-start="2086">In summary, the Bulgaria workshop successfully established the educational foundations and clarified the developmental steps required for all four participants. While none of the candidates reached certification level during this workshop, they each showed strong motivation and potential. With continued practice, proper documentation, and adherence to APPI methodology, they will have the opportunity to return for re-evaluation in a future workshop once the required standards are achieved.</p>
