DESCRIPTION

Just outside the south fence (to the right facing the sea) of the resort is a cleared hill. At the top is a grassy launch. This is suitable for ridge soaring the large ridge to the south or for low wind sled rides to the beach and ground handling. Alternatively, it is possible to do launches from the grounds of the resort in the right winds for experienced pilots. This is only for NE winds onto the ridge directly under the resort.
