DESCRIPTION

Take off faces NNW and is from a flat paved area in front of the large statue of a monk. The site works well in mos wind directions between NE and NW. The local geography seems to funnel the wind up the hill and and it surprisingly easy to stay up in light winds. When the wind is strong then you will be lifted off the ground. If you are not used to flying in strong dynamic lift then wait until the wind eases off. Please be aware that there is a tandem operation here between October and February. Give way to tandems when it is safe to do so.
