DESCRIPTION

Landing is back on top at the take-off point. If it is suitable for flying then the lift is normally good just when you want to land. The landing is difficult for the inexperienced as you cannot get down fast enough and the landing is small. It is very common here to use 'big-ears' right up until landing. (see YouTube video). You should never fly behind the back wall of the landing area as there can be rotor in stronger winds and there are lamp posts and trees. If you have to land down on the beach you should get as far right or left from the launch as you can as the beach is wider there. Landing in front of launch is not advisable due to the thin beach, power lines and lamp posts.
