DESCRIPTION

Marshall has a superb and well maintained LZ in the Andy Jackson Airpark, which was constructed to be level. Defined landing patterns keep hang gliders and paragliders separate on busy days. There is a structure that provides shade and many chairs. There is a large grassy area for folding and breaking down. Limited camping and RV parking is available for nominal fees. No hookups, just a portajohn. Andy Jackson Airpark is the only location (in the valley) where it is legal for pilots to land. The City of San Bernardino has an ordinance against flying or landing within city limits and the police can issue tickets to violators.
